Crunchy Topping for Pies (with apple recipe)

1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. soft butter
1/3 c. flour
¾ c. rolled oats
dash of salt

Have pie shell partly cooked in 425 oven for about 10 min.
Fill with:
3c. apples
½ c. sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp cinnamon

Top with Crunchy topping and bake at 350 for 35 minutes or ‘til apples are tender.
