Sugar Cookies

½ c. butter
½ c. sugar
1 egg beaten
½ tsp vanilla
1 ½ c. flour
1 ½ tsp baking pwd
½ tsp salt

Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add beaten egg and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and stir in.

Roll not too thin, about ¼” and sprinkle with granulated sugar or sprinkles.
Bake in 350 oven for 8-10 min.

Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
